Name that Place!
In case you haven’t heard, I’m writing a book! The places in the photos below are just a handful of what served as inspiration for my story. Since research is one of my favorite parts of the writing process, I had a blast walking in my characters’ shoes for a little while, perusing each location. See if you can guess where I went based on the pictures and their historical fun facts. Answers are at the bottom.

These 222 acres, located in what is now downtown _____________, were re-classified as a park to curtail livestock grazing. The park (in its original form) was completed in the late 1930’s and featured a clubhouse, lagoon, boat dock, 18-hole golf course, band shell, playground areas, tennis and horseshoe courts, and an archery range.
